    what are comm hours...?

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests for hours that must be completed within a short period of time.

    If you have to do these hours within a short period of time (less than 1 month from today), we suggest that you look for another organization with which to volunteer.  But if the limit for your hours can be extended, please change the "required by date" to indicate that (and make it more than 1 month from today).

  • VOLUNTEER INFO SESSION

    This form is intended for those who have already attended a Volunteer Info Session at The Depot.  Please indicate below when you attended the info session (you can give an approximate date if you don't remember exactly).

  • GARDEN JOBS NOTE: Garden jobs happen sporadically throughout the year, and are not regular. We encourage you to choose other options as well as this one if you want to regularly volunteer.

  • BOÎTE À LUNCH NOTE:

    We are looking for volunteers who can commit to volunteering 1 afternoon per week, for at least 5 weeks over the course of the 10-week workshop series

    We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour, as judged by our animation team

    Because these workshops are with young people, we ask that volunteers be prepared to accept a criminal records check.

  • PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASES:

    Summary: By selecting YES to one or both of the boxes below, I agree to The Depot taking photos and/or recording videos of me. I agree to The Depot sharing these photos and/or videos, including for advertising and/or fundraising purposes, without receiving any monetary compensation.

    Please note: You can participate in all Depot programs without agreeing to this media release; however, we ask that you remind staff that you do not want your picture taken if and when someone is taking pictures or videos.

    When you give The Depot your personal information, you agree that we can use and store it to manage your participation in our programs. We may also use anonymous data (which doesn't include any personal information) to create reports and statistics. We will keep your information for up to 7 years, but you can ask us to delete it at any time. You can read our full privacy policy here.

     

    If you do not become a volunteer or otherwise participate in Depot programs within 6 months of filling in this form, we will make every effort to delete your personal information at that time.  (This may mean you must fill in this form again if that time has elapsed.)
