  • I nominate the following member for the office as indicated below. 

    (NOTE: A Separate Nomination Form Is Required for Each Office Sought)

  • The NEA-New Mexico Elections Committee calls for nominations for offices to be elected in the 2026 All-Member Election.   All nominations due by close of business on Friday, October 10, 2025, except for nominations for NEA Representative Assembly Delegates. Nominations for State NEA Representative Delegates, Category Two Delegate, Cluster NEA Representative Delegates, Aspiring educator NEA Representative Delegates, and Retired NEA Representative Delegates must be received no later than the close of such nominations at the Annual Delegate Council.

    Please refer to the full Call for Nominations for the terms of positions at www.neanm.org. Terms of office: Most terms begin on July 15, 2026 with the exception of "unexpired terms," (if applicable) which will commence upon election. 

     Nominee and nominator must be members of NEA-NM in category nominating.

    Nominations are open for the following offices:

  • * The actual number of retired delegates and cluster delegates to be elected will be determined by the membership figures in each category as they exist on January 15, 2026. Aspiring Educator delegates to be elected will be determined by the membership figures in each category as they exist on March 21, 2026.

    • At-Large elections, conducted at Delegate Council, if applicable.
    • Elections Committee to draw lots of ballot positions.
    October 31, 2025
    • Deadline for candidate statements

    • Postcards/emails for electronic voting instructions mailed
    • Instructions to request an optional paper ballot
    • Electronic voting begins
    February 12, 2026
    • Postmark deadline for eligible voters to return optional paper ballots
    February 19, 2026, 5pm
    • Electronic voting closes
    • Deadline for paper ballots
    February 21, 2026
    • Elections Committee Tally Subcommittee to determine election results
    February 23, 2026
    • Elections Committee will report the elections results to the NEA-NM Board of Directors for certification
