PAYMENT POLICY
Payment for each new session is due in full 1 week before the beginning of the session. Payment for an upcoming session holds your child(ren)’s placement in our program. Late payments may be subject to a late fee of up to 20% of the tuition or result in your child losing their spot in NG programming. Once a session begins, there are no refunds for sessions. Your payment shows your commitment to the entire session allowing NG to effectively schedule coaches for your child(ren)’s classes. You may, however, request a full refund up to 1 week before the start of a session.
Payments can be delivered in-person to Teens Inc. or mailed to:
Ned Gymmies, PO Box 3800, Nederland CO 80466.
HOLIDAYS AND OTHER CLOSURES
NG will NOT hold classes on major holidays including Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas, Labor Day, Memorial Day, President's Day, Easter Sunday, and the 4th of July, nor will there be regular classes held during Boulder Valley School District’s Spring Break week or other such school breaks, although classes may border these weeks. If NG needs to close for any reason or a schedule change needs to be made, due to unforeseen circumstances, or any other reason deemed necessary by the staff of NG or Teens Inc., we reserve the right to do so. If NG or Teens Inc. is closed for any reason other than a scheduled holiday, a make-up day will be offered or a refund given at the discretion of NG.
NG and Teens Inc.’s management reserves the right to cancel a scheduled class due to a lack of participation or a conflict with another class or event. NG will make every effort to avoid interrupting classes and accommodate our students. Where appropriate, refunds will be issued in such events.
MAKE-UPS
Due to the nature of our programming, we are unable to offer in-session makeup classes. Instead, if you are enrolling in the next session, you may carry over one makeup class per child over to the next session. If your child has a make-up, please notify us and you will receive a credit on the next session's tuition of $20. Make-ups cannot be carried over beyond the subsequent session.
COVID & ILLNESS
Do not allow your child to attend class if they have had or been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days. We will follow BVSD's policies on masks for our students.
Children must be free of fever, without the aid of medication, for a minimum of 24 hours before participating in an NG class or event. This helps us to keep the staff and children healthy and happy! If your child has been sick in the last 24 hours, please do not bring him/her to Teens Inc. Furthermore, if your child has stayed home from school due to illness, had yellow/green mucus from his/her nose, vomited, or had diarrhea in the past 24 hours do not bring them to Teens Inc. Similarly, we also ask that you do not bring sick siblings to Teens Inc.
ATTENDING CLASSES
A parent/legal guardian must sign the Acknowledgment of Risk & Release of Liability Waiver before their child(ren) participates in class(es)
Children must be dressed appropriately for physical activity: comfortable, fitted clothing that allows for movement and stretching; no denim or rough materials, buttons, zippers or belts
Long hair must be pulled back away from the face for their safety and to aid our coaches when spotting
No bracelets or earrings (other than small studs), necklaces, or anklets may be worn during classes. If worn, your child(ren) will be asked to remove these items. NG is not responsible for storing or holding these items, nor is NG or Teens Inc. responsible if these are lost or stolen.
No gum, food, or drinks are allowed inside the gym. The one exception is water in a leak-proof bottle. There is a water fountain where students may also get water if needed.
Parents and other guests, not participating in an adult/child class, are asked to watch their students from the sidelines or, preferably, outside the gymnasium. We ask this to allow your child to be fully engaged in the class. Please do not enter the gymnasium unless asked to do so by a coach or other employee. If you need to reach your child urgently, please ask a staff member for assistance.
For safety reasons, we ask that you DO NOT use flash photography at any time during classes. Special arrangements can be made with the NG staff for pictures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
NG and its employees will make every effort to monitor children after classes but children can become anxious when they don’t see their parent/guardian after class. It is my responsibility to pick up my child(ren) on time. If someone else is picking up my child after class I will let their coach or a manager know. NG is not responsible for my child(ren) after class ends, nor is NG responsible for items left at the Teens Inc. facility.
I am responsible to notify NG staff if my email, physical address, or phone number(s) changes.
I am responsible to pay for each session in full before it starts as outlined above.
I am responsible to ensure that my child(ren) comes to class in good health and free of injury. Any physical injuries or special needs that my child(ren) has must be disclosed to their coach/management before participation.
