Sectional Leadership - with Theo Hicks
Strong ensembles are built on strong section leaders. This session helps to equip section leaders with the tools to lead effective, confident, and musically impactful sectionals.
Topics will include:
- The role of a section leader in shaping ensemble sound and culture
- How to run a focused, efficient sectional rehearsal
- Teaching strategies for tuning, vowel alignment, and ensemble awareness
- Communication and leadership approaches that build trust and accountability
This workshop is designed to be practical and empowering, helping leaders move beyonddrilling notes to actively shaping the ensemble’s musical success.
