  • Criteria

    The Trainee of the Year Award honours an outstanding individual who has demonstrated exceptionaldedication, skill and commitment to their training. The category is open to candidates who have completed any LCL Awards qualification. We are looking for a trainee who has gone above and beyond in their learning journey - whether through overcoming challenges, excelling in practical or academic performance, or making a positive impact on their peers and the industry. This award celebrates a future professional who embodies the highest standards of excellence and determination.
  • Important information

    The LCL Trainee of the Year will not be expected to attend the Awards ceremony but will receive an award and certificate delivered by a member of the LCL Awards team. They will also receive a tool bag relating to their chosen area of building services. Nominees must be happy to have their story shared on LCL’s website and social media platforms, as well as in the trade press.
