AGENCY CONSULTANT, SCOUT, & AGENT AGREEMENT

Memberships

Registration as an NLS Agent, Consultant, or Scout will licence the member for a nominal fee. The membership will cover your access to our transfer portal which will include key information and direct contact to club scouts, including access to our senior staff who will work with you and assist in your role. There is also the opportunity to expand your all round knowledge in this field and complete the NLS Football Agent, Football Scouting, or Football Coaching Online Courses.

Membership can provide licence to work and recruit on our behalf. You will be provided with exclusive online worksheets including strategies for scouting recruitment, player recruitment, and a club request form with information on current requests from our club contacts. Please note you do not have to be a registered intermediary to be an nls consultant under this agreement. As a member consultant or scout you can work from home or a remote location.

Please note if you intend to recruit players under the age of 18, you must complete a separate DBS with us before commencing in this role.

Please note payments are non-refundable, and they cannot be rolled over to following year as they will go to all costs committed to that term. Should you wish to end the agreement and membership at any time you can email enquiries@nlsgrp.co with your reasons and they will assist in closing your membership.

If you misuse or break the terms of agreement, your online worksheets will be disabled automatically and you will no longer be eligible to receive the benefits of being a member.

Scope and Objective of this Role

The purpose of this agreement is to seek out and introduce clients for opportunities at football clubs and secure offers and contracts.

Engagement of Services

The member will provide the Sports agency with the following services:

1. Identify and present potential clients

2. Member will provide regular updates to Sports agency

3. Sports agency shall provide any necessary materials and resources in order to help the consultant secure clients.

4. Member will operate for a minimum of 8 hours per week (Recommended - not mandatory)

Services

The member will seek out clients for offers from football clubs.

Eligibility

The member has provided to the Sports agency their qualifications for eligibility of this opportunity. The consultant has also been fully vetted to ensure their suitability for this role and supplied copies of their passport and an up to date utility bill.

Transfer Portal Access

As an NLS member scout, consultant or coach you will receive access to our Transfer Portal. The Transfer Portal will allow you to work remotely and is a key tool to succeeding in this role. The recruitment Transfer Portal will allow you to:

- Directly refer potential players to our club contacts 
- Have direct communication with our club contacts 
- Request any players you have be uploaded onto the portal for all your colleagues and club contacts to view, assess, and provide responses and feedback for
- Gives you the early advantage in early negotiations with clubs for players

Additional Club Contacts Access

The purpose of this is to receive current club contacts with a view to seek and introduce players for opportunities at football clubs. The additional contacts access can also be updated with new contacts and contact information

Addtional club contacts will allow you to receive a set number of contact details of club contacts so you can communicate with them directly. These may include their full name, role and email address. The details will be sent to you via the Portal Admin, and once received you can make contact with them to propose any players directly. 

We would also advise you to seek advice from the lead agent/portal team directly so they can guide you on how best to utilise those contacts.

All contacts will be current and accurate on provision and the registration for addtional club contacts cannot be changed or reversed. This registration form is exclusive only to active members. The club contacts details cannot be shared by anyone not registered under this agreement.

Compensation / Commission

Sports agency shall pay the member:

1) £20 successful referral commission per each new suitable player introduced to lead agents (Pre-recruitment includes successful communication between player and lead staff)

2) £50 commission per Independent Academy partnership agreements completed 

3) £80 commission per player where representation contracts are completed from players introduced by the member (During recruitment)

4) 10% commission net earnings from signing on fees secured by the sports agency from players introduced by the member (Post recruitment)

Non-compete clause

1) The member cannot use Sports agency contacts or clients to secure offers on behalf of the Sports agency's competitors

2) The member cannot conduct any agency roles in any capacity for the Sports agency's competitors

3) This agreement is exclusive and binding even if terminated before end date of this agreement, the non-compete clause will apply until end date of this agreement.

Disciplinary

The agreement can be terminated by the Sports agency with immediate effect for gross misconduct by the member following an investigation if the consultant is deemed to have broken the terms of the agreement and rules of operation i.e. going AWOL for a maximum of 7 days without written consent. The agreement can also be suspended until pending investigation, or until further notice, or terminated with immediate effect should you misuse the terms of the online portal I.e providing access to unauthorised personnel. Your agreement can also be terminated with immediate effect if after an investigation has concluded you have deemed to abuse another individidual or group of people i.e. racially, sexually or with threats or incitement of violence as well as sharing or posting sexual images or videos without consent. All communication with club contacts must take place within the Transfer Portal. Should you attempt to request contact with club contacts outside of the portal you will be in breach of your agreement, your access will be disabled, your agreement terminated and you will be locked out of the portal indefinitely.

Exit strategies

Should the member wish to end this agreement any time prior to end of the agreement they must do so in writing. This option means the agreement ends with immediate effect after the 28 days and the member will no longer be entitled to receive the benefits of this agreement.

Relationship between both parties

Member relationship with the sports agency will be that of an independent contractor and nothing in this agreement is intended to or should be constructed to create a partnership, agency or employment relationship. The consultant will not be entitled under this agreement to any of the benefits that the Sports agency may make available to its employees, including but not limited to liability insurance, profit-sharing, retirement benefits, paid vacation, holidays or sick leave or workers compensation insurance.

Ownership of property and materials

Member acknowledges and agrees that any and all documents produced by the member, including but not limited to memoranda, research notes, correspondence, emails, pleadings, and reports during the course of their work for the sports agency, shall be the sole property of the Sports agency and the consultant shall retain no ownership, interests or rights therein.
