These grants are available to purchase beef products to teach about various aspects of beef including but not limited to: beef cuts, beef cooking, beef safety and handling, nutrition, animal science, meat science, sustainability, ranching, etc.
Beef purchases can be fresh or pre-cooked product.

Funds can only be used in the classroom/food lab setting with the focus being on beef education. Funds cannot be used for school social events. (For Ag Day and other school function sponsorships, please contact us for limited opportunities for those types of events).

Process:Purchase the beef, save your receipts.
Submit Expense Reimbursement Form with receipts.
New Mexico Beef Council will reimburse you in a timely manner.
Receipts and paperwork can be submitted at any time before May 28, 2027.
You can send in multiple receipts throughout the year so you do not have to wait until you spend the full $1,000.

If you have any questions or need any beef handouts or posters to help with your classroom, please contact us. All print materials are free of charge.
