No One Listens... Until Now.
When the system turns its back, we turn to each other.
Our Mission
Alabama is more than its headlines. It’s time the world heard our truth. We are the daughters who couldn’t get the care we needed. The farmers left behind by promises that never came. The students too afraid to speak in class. The sons who learned to hide who they were to survive. This is Alabama, but not the one you’ve been shown. Our state was the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. Now, too often, we’re the testing ground for oppression. We are the first to fall, so others can see what’s coming. That’s why we’re telling our stories. Not filtered through politics. Not twisted by stereotypes. But told, plainly and powerfully, by the people who live here. This is a digital front porch for Alabama voices. A record of harm. A call to action. TLDR: Hear our stories. Heed our warnings. Because what happens here doesn’t stop here. If our leaders won’t represent us, we’ll represent ourselves. One story at a time.
