MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

1. Dues can be submitted with this registration online. Or email a copy of the application to donzepam@yahoo.com and submit dues online using Zelle at nortexswc@gmail.com. Application must be endorsed by two members in good standing, and you must be in good standing with the AKC.

2. Your application will be reviewed by the Board and submitted to the general membership for approval.

3. You will be notified of the ballot results by the Club Secretary within seven (7) business days of the decision.

4. As a member, NorTex SWC will expect you to participate in and volunteer for at least two club events during a 12-month period. There are many benefits in volunteering at a trial – you not only spend quality time with your dog and fellow dog lovers, but you also learn by watching a diversity of breeds searching.
EMAIL COMMUNICATION POLICY

NorTex Scent Work Club (the “Club”) will send all official notifications via email unless otherwise requested. Members can expect to receive notification of Club meetings, dues notices, minutes, and all other information via the member’s email address on file with the Club Secretary. In addition, board members can expect to receive notification of board meetings and all other information via email at the member’s email address on file with the Club Secretary.

I understand that I can revoke this authorization at any time by submitting written notice to the Club Secretary.

I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the Club Secretary if my email address changes.

I hereby acknowledge the Club’s policy and agree to receive documents at the email address on the front of the application.

I hereby make an application for membership into NorTex Scent Work Club, and hereby agree to abide by the Constitution, By-laws of the Club and the AKC Code of Sportsmanship. I understand that the Club reserves the right to refuse membership for any reason.
