Register to join the Come and Try Beach Event at Yorkey's Knob Beach on 29th of March 2026. Open to ages 7 to 99+.
Surf Life Saving North Queensland is looking for The Fastest on Sand as we come together to celebrate community, culture and sport. This Come and Try Beach Event is being held to kick off the NQ Surf Sports season and is open to all ages from 7 to 99+. Whether you are a Community member or existing Surf Life Saving Club Member - everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the fun and competition of this beach event. The event will include demonstrations and traditional surf lifesaving events including beach sprints, long-distance running, flags, and relays.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE ATTENDEES On registering for the event, I consent to being bound by and agree to: a. Be punctual for the event. b. If unable to attend due to illness inform organisers by phone or email. c.Personal recording of the event for private re-distribution is prohibited. d. Attendees are responsible for ensuring that the information within the registration is complete and accurate. ORGANISER RIGHTS a. All advertised details are correct at the time of advertising event. b. The event organisers will use reasonable endeavours to notify attendees of a cancellation, variation, rescheduling or postponement of an Event by sending an email to the address provided to us at the time of registering; however, the responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled, varied, rescheduled or postponed is yours. EVENT CONDUCT a. You are expected to behave in a professional and appropriate manner at all Events. We reserve the right to refuse entry or require you to leave if your behaviour is deemed unacceptable. b. You acknowledge that cameras, audio and video recorders may not be permitted at certain events. SLSQ will advise whether this is the case at each event. c. SLSQ films and photographs every event. You consent to being filmed or photographed by SLSQ (or its representatives) and to SLSQ using your name, likeness, image and/or voice in such photographs or films for the purpose of promoting our events, services and products. No remuneration is payable for such use.
