Thank you for your interest in joining Ohel Mo’ed.
We are a peer-led halachic egalitarian community, affiliated with the Masorti movement. We create a space for joyful and intentional prayer in a non-judgemental and inclusive atmosphere. We strive to create an empowered community that’s passionate about contributing to the running of our services and community life. We are a close-knit and open community where all are encouraged to bring their full selves.
Rather than charge a fixed fee for membership, we offer a fairer and more progressive model, where those able to contribute more are encouraged to do so, and those less financially able don’t need to apologise or ask permission to pay less.
We will never ask you to declare your income to us or question you regarding your financial status. We only ask you to be honest and as generous as you can. Donations above and beyond those recommended are of course very welcome.
What does membership include?
