Outdoor sports and activities contain inherent risks including, but not limited to the risk of personal injury, including catastrophic injury, or death or property damage, which may be caused by variations in terrain or weather conditions; or surface or subsurface snow, ice, bare spots or areas of thin cover, moguls, ruts, bumps; or other persons using the facilities; or rocks, forest growth, debris, branches, trees, roots, stumps or other natural or man made objects that are incidental to the provision or maintenance of the outdoor sports facility in New York State. New York law imposes a duty on you to become apprised of and understand, the risks inherent in outdoor sports and activities, which are set forth above, so that you may make an informed decision of whether to participate in outdoor sports and activities notwithstanding the risks. New York law also imposes additional duties upon you, to which you must adhere, for the purpose of avoiding injury caused by any of the risks inherent in purpose of avoiding injury caused by any of the risks inherent in outdoor sports and activities. If you choose to rent equipment or take lessons regarding outdoor sports and activities from any staff or representative of Onondaga County Parks, you are doing so with full and complete understanding of the risks involved with these activities. Any injury or misfortune that may befall you while participating in outdoor sports and activities in any Onondaga County Park is therefore not the responsibility of the County and Onondaga County is not liable for your actions. You are responsible and liable for your actions. If you are not willing to assume all of these risks and abide by all of these duties, you are not authorized to participate in outdoor sports and activities at any Onondaga County Park.
ALL PERSONS USING THE HIGHLAND FOREST FACILITIES ARE BOUND BY THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE AFOREMENTIONED CODE. All sales are final and refunds will not be given after purchasing this pass. Season passes are non transferable. Any pass given to another patron is subject to revocation.
If you lose your pass it's your responsibility to replace it at original cost. Please display or carry the pass when on the grounds of Highland Forest.
