    REGISTER NOW, PAY LATER!

Please register as soon as possible if you are interested; early registration is essential for us to confirm feasibility.

This is our first time running a camp in Arizona, and it is a regional pilot event. Registration numbers within the first few weeks will determine whether the camp proceeds. While registering is considered formal commitment on the behalf of participants, no payment will be charged by OneTeamMVMT until there are sufficient registrations to confirm the camp will take place. Spaces for the OneTeamMVMT Regional Synchro Development Camp are limited, and early registration helps us ensure a safe, high-quality experience for every skater, while supporting our need to finalize logistics as early as possible.

    •
    • FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

    • Who will be coaching at this year's camp?
    • We are currently finalizing the coaching lineup for this camp. Our priority is to bring in an experienced coaching team from the USA, with a strong background in synchronized skating and a proven track record of working with skaters across a wide range of ages and levels.

For reference: we held a Regional Development seminar in 2025 in Newfoundland and the coaching lineup included 3 main coaches (former Senior Skaters who now coach with NEXXICE, Nova Junior, and Les Suprêmes Novice), a Senior Ice Dancer & Coach, and Team Canada skaters with experience coaching various levels of synchro.

The camp will be supported by guest Team USA skaters and alumni, who will provide on-ice demonstrations, mentorship, and guidance throughout the weekend. All coaches and guest athletes are carefully selected to ensure a positive, development-focused, and welcoming learning environment.

    • My child could fit into either the Youth Development Camp or the FUNdamentals Camp. How do I know which one to choose?
    • Both camps are designed to support skill development, but with slightly different focuses. The Youth Development Camp is geared toward skaters who want a more challenging, skill-intensive experience (and can handle a 6-hour day), while the FUNdamentals Camp focuses on building foundational skills in a condensed, supportive environment.

If your child is on the cusp, consider their maturity, ability, interest, and your family’s schedule and budget. Both camps offer valuable development opportunities.

    • Who can attend this camp?
    • Skaters aged 5 to adult and collegiate, at all levels from ASPIRE synchro skaters with no test-levels to high-performance athletes. Coaches of any experience level are also welcome.

    • Are high-level adults allowed in Youth Development Camp?
    • Our goal is to offer two adult training groups: a Competitive Adult group (for skaters with Gold Skills level or similar experience) and a Mid-Level Adult group. If enough adults register, we will be able to place all adults within these two groups.

If there are not enough registrations to create a high-level adult group, advanced adult skaters may have the option to train with the highest Youth Development Camp group. Adults who would like to be considered for this option can indicate that preference on their registration form.

This approach allows us to keep adult programming tailored to adult skaters whenever possible, while still ensuring that highly advanced adults have access to an appropriately challenging training environment.

    • What is the difference between OTM's INTERNATIONAL and REGIONAL Synchro Development Camps?
    • Both International and Regional Synchro Development Camps are designed by OneTeamMVMT and share the same core values: high-quality coaching, skill development, skating beside top synchro athletes to help you feel how to skate elements correctly, and a positive, supportive camp experience!

Our International Synchro Development Camps (Ontario, Chicago and Quebec) are flagship events that bring together skaters from multiple regions and countries, with international coaching staff, national-team athletes, full-day programming, and added camp experiences such as meals, swag, and social activities.

Our Regional Synchro Development Camps are designed to support the growth of synchronized skating in developing regions. These camps offer a focused, accessible format led by experienced, domestic guest-coaches and supported by elite guest athletes. Programming is tailored to the local community, with fewer extras but the same commitment to quality coaching, development, and fun.

Both camps provide meaningful learning, confidence-building, and connection - the difference is in scale and format, not the quality of instruction.

    • What should skaters expect during the weekend?
    • A fully guided, inspiring weekend led by experienced synchro coaches and supported by national-team skaters and alumni. Skaters will be supported throughout both on- and off-ice sessions, with mentorship, encouragement, and hands-on guidance designed to support their individual growth.

We take skater learning goals seriously. Requests submitted during registration help shape the focus of sessions, ensuring time is spent working on skills that matter most to the group.

The schedule features a motivating mix of:

      • On-ice development in areas which may include skating skills, synchro elements, edges and turns, field moves, power, formations, pair elements, and age-appropriate challenges
      • Off-ice training focused on areas which may include guided warm-ups and cooldowns, flexibility, dance or movement sessions, rules or education components, and team-building activities (offerings vary by camp and coach availability)

The focus of the weekend is growth, confidence, connection, and fun - all within a supportive, professional, and welcoming environment.

For illustrative purposes only: here is an example of a camp schedule to give you an idea of how the camp days are generally structured (times, topics, and durations vary)

    • Is this an overnight camp?
    • No - participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation to camp. We always secure a block of rooms at a nearby hotel, so that camp participants can be sure of hotel availability. Details will be sent in your confirmation email.

    • Can my coach attend too?
    • Yes! Coaches can enroll in the Coach Track, and we greatly encourage coaches to take advantage of this wonderful development opportunity!

    • Why go to a OTM Synchro Camp?
      1. OTM Camp allows skaters the opportunity to challenge themselves by learning new skills, while further-developing existing skills reinforced by new perspectives.

      2. Camp allows skaters to "meet their competitors" and build friendship bonds across teams, enhancing sportsmanship and camaradarie across the sport. When skaters enjoy their sport more, they're more likely to engage in healthy participation for life, and that is what we want to foster at camp.

      3. Camp brings the FUN! Training in synchro can be intense, especially when your team has big goals that you're working hard toward. Camp is a laid back atmosphere where skaters are encouraged to have fun, to laugh at imperfections, and to just try things without fear of failure.

      4. Our Camp Leaders are current and former National Team synchro skaters who enable participants to see skills demonstrated at the highest level, up close and personal! These leaders also give individualized feedback to participants, as well as mentorship all weekend long, and the opportunity to skate in-line beside top-level skaters. Feeling the way the drills and elements are supposed to be skated is one of the best and fastest ways for skaters to learn skills!

      5. You'll work on synchro elements and features, skating skills (edges, turns, twizzles, hops, slides), synchro fundamentals (tracking, traveling, matching), synchro "tricks" (field moves, pair moves, spins), and learn tips for artistry, musicality, team bonding, managing competition nerves, and more!

      6. Because you LOVE synchro, and so do we!
    • What is OneTeamMVMT?
    • One Team Movement" is a Canadian-registered not-for-profit organization that serves and supports the global synchronized skating community. Since 2016, we have been uniting the synchro community and developing resources and programs to further the sport toward Olympic inclusion, while promoting awareness to make "what is synchro" a question of the past. As synchro enthusiasts and former World Competitors, we are constantly monitoring the needs of the synchro community to understand what we can do as an organization to assist and elevate the sport. Above all, we believe that we are stronger when working together, and can achieve more for our sport when we combine our efforts and passion, and work as "One Team."

    • Because this camp is priced intentionally low to remain accessible, its feasibility depends on participation and optional community support. Families who are able may choose to make an optional contribution to help this camp move forward. Optional contributions help offset fixed costs such as ice time and coaching, reducing the minimum number of registrations required for the camp to proceed. To add a donation, enter the amount into the field below.

    • TO AVOID ANY RISK OF LOSING YOUR FORM INFORMATION, PLEASE SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE AND CLICK "SAVE" BEFORE PROCEEDING TO PAYMENT. This should send a copy of your saved form to your email address.
