MAT
We'll be using iAbacus (and/or MATvista) for quality assurance in our trust/group. Our central team will be evaluating specific aspects of provision and adding actions to improve. This may or may not include contributions from schools in our trust/group. The main objective will be a clear picture of performance/quality in a central abacus which we can share with stakeholders.
School
We'll be using iAbacus to create our school/organisation self-evaluation and improvement plan. Our senior leadership team will collaborate with the headteacher/director adding their judgements and suggesting actions to improve. Our main objective is to have a clear self-evaluation and improvement plan to share with stakeholders and inspectors.
Subject
We'll be using iAbacus with our subject leaders to help them create a subject or curriculum self-evaluation and improvement plan. Our senior leadership team and/or headteacher will then combine all the subject evaluations and plans into a central overlay so we can see effectiveness across the school. Our main objective is to build the capacity of our subject leaders and provide insights to school leadership.
Teacher
We'll be using iAbacus with our teachers and TAs to help them reflect on their own performance and create their own professional growth plans. Our senior leadership team and/or headteacher will then combine all the teacher growth plans into a central overlay so we can see development needs across the school. Our main objective is to empower teachers to reflect and think strategically about their own professional growth - but at the same time provide insights to school leadership.
Learner
We'll be using iAbacus with teaching staff to help them evaluate learner progress and create personalised action plans. Our main objective is to have accurate and up-to-date evaluations of learner progress in a range of areas with added actions plans to help them grow.
Themed
We'll be using iAbacus with our middle leaders to help them create self-evaluations and improvement plans for there areas of responsibility, e.g. SEND, safeguarding, reading, attendance, behaviour. Our senior leadership team and/or headteacher will then review those evaluations and plans. Our main objective is to build the capacity of our middle leaders and provide insights to school leadership.
