Important Information:
International students seeking to transfer from OC to another registered provider PRIOR to completion of the first 6 calendar months of their principal course must seek approval to transfer, and complete the Release Letter Request Form.
OC will only grant a deferment or suspension of enrolment due to compassionate and/or compelling circumstances. Sufficient evidence to support the circumstances must be provided along with the application. Applications which do not have sufficient supporting evidence attached will not be accepted. (Please refer to the colleges Extenuating Circumstances table for more information on what may and may not be considered compassionate/compelling circumstances - you can request this document from the administration team)
Students may apply for a cancellation of enrolment due to:
Cessation of studies, which may include, but is not limited to:
- the student decides to terminate their studies and leave Australia – must provide one-way flight tickets
- change to the student’s visa status e.g. the student is no longer under a student visa - must provide new IMMI Grant Visa notification
- OC may require additional documentation to support this application. This application will be assessed once all documents have been received.
- A decision will be sent to you in writing within 10 business days of receiving all documentation to assess the request. It will not be finalized until OC advises you in writing.
- Students must continue to attend classes according to the schedule academic sessions while a decision is made on this request.
- The Student must be up-to-date with the Tuition Fees as per the payment schedule in their Letter of Offer Acceptance Agreement; no requests will be processed if there are outstanding Tuition Fees.

- Please refer to the Refund Table in your Letter of Offer and Acceptance Agreement for any administration fees which may apply for this application to be processed
