Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog! Please note the following:
- Only apply for a dog that is listed on our website as available for adoption. We do not accept waitlists for dogs not currently listed as available.
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- If you rent, we will contact your landlord to verify you are allowed to have a dog at your residence.
- If you have pets, we will contact your veterinarian to ensure sufficient vet care has been provided.
- Your personal references as listed below will be contacted. Please make sure they are aware and able to respond in a timely manner to process your application.
- If you are approved to adopt, you must be able to travel to the Portland/Vancouver Metro Area to pick up the dog.
To help ensure the best possible placement for our rescue dogs, and in order to determine that the proposed adoption is in the best interest of both the dog, you, and your family, please answer the following as thoroughly as possible.
