Day Trip to Grand Marais (art shops, lake walk, brewery, outfitters, folk school, restaurants, rentals, etc - located 1.5 hours to hotel (many scenic stops along the way)
Day Trip to Duluth (food, shopping, aquarium, beaches, breweries, ship watching, mansion tours, adventure park with alpine coaster, etc.) - located 20 to 30 minutes from Hotel
Brewery Visit: Castle Danger (Two Harbors) - Free + Cost of food/beverage
Mini Golf ($-$$)
Regular Golf ($$-$$$)
Lutsen Gondola Ride nd/or Alpine Slide Ride (must be 48ish inches to ride) - 1 hour from hotel. (Free-$$: Combo tickets for both: free for small kids, $30 for kids over 5, $45 for adults.)
Shoreline Fishing (requires fishing license $-$$$)
Zipline/Ropes course at nearby North Shore Adventure Park. They have a kids playground for small children, ropes course is open to those 7+, and axe throwing is open to adults. (Kid friendly, $$-$$$)
Day Trip with a Zipline Canopy Tour ($$$- ages 10+ only) - 1.5 hours from hotel (Grand Marais)
Big Lake kayak tour/rental ($$-$$$)
Canoe Day Trip to BWCA ($$ for canoe rental)
