The growth of bioelectronics is unstoppable and new therapeutic modalities are emerging as a result of the increasing research and advances in this field.
To carry on with the fantastic momentum that bioelectronics is experiencing in Europe, this workshop will bring together top scientists based in the UK and the Iberian Peninsula in our first British-Iberian Bioelectronics Workshop on the 17th of February of 2023 at the Pavilion of Knowledge (Pavilhão do Conhecimento) of Lisbon: https://goo.gl/maps/v2jBzUKCqx5FSrjc6.
In the first component of this workshop, speakers from different sectors and fields will share their work and address future challenges in bioelectronics, where early-career researchers will also have the opportunity to communicate their research.
A second component will be dedicated at elucidating a roadmap for our bilateral cooperation and competitiveness to address major societal challenges, covering the whole value chain, from research to market in key applications.
BIBio-e will have a particular emphasis on nanobioelectrocnics for cancer, however, other subjects will be covered including additive manufacturing, tissue engineering and the development of 'smart' materials
This workshop is organised by Dr Frankie Rawson (Frankie.Rawson@nottingham.ac.uk), University of Nottingham (UK) and Dr Paola Sanjuan Alberte (Paola.alberte@tecnico.ulisboa.pt), Instituto Superior Tecnico (Portugal) with the support of the BBSRC International Partnership Fund.
A full program of the event will be sent to the participants closer to the date. BIBio-e does not require any registration fees.
The deadline for abstract submission is now closed
Registration deadline for the 2023 BIBio-e is the 10th of February of 2023
