Answer these simple questions to calcuate "My business saleability score" :

  • SO WHAT DOES YOUR SCORE MEAN:

0 - 10  -  You have a lot of work to do before you consider selling your business. You can spend a lot of money engaging someone to sell your business only to find out that it may not be saleable. We highly suggest talking to us about the steps you can take to maximise the value of your business before putting it on the market.

10 - 20  - Your business maybe saleable, but there a lot of things working against you to get a great price and the right terms for your business. With a little bit of planning and work, you would achieve a much better result.

20 - 35 - This is the usual range that most advertised business for sale fall into - especially if they are for sale by the owner themselves. They usually take longer to sell and they can often have issues through the negotiation and due dilgence stages of the process.  Typically they may not acheive the maximum price at sale.

35 - 50 - This is a desirable range to be in, and a buyer will expect to pay more for the business. These businesses are being run well, generally with good processes and systems and the outlook for the business is bright. To maximise the sale result of your business we would recommend engaging a quality business broker

50 - 60 - You are in the top bracket ripe for aquistion. If the business is prepared well, priced well and your timelines and expectations are realistic, your business is extremely saleable. To maximise the sale result of your business we would recommend reaching out and engaging a quality business broker to discuss your next steps.
