Important Note on PGA Jr. League Program Changes:

PGA Jr. League is embarking on a multi-year expansion plan designed to provide more opportunities for kids to play PGA Jr. League at the local level, as well as more opportunities for you, PGA and LPGA Professionals, to engage with kids and families.

In 2021, PGA Jr. League is:

    • Creating more flexible league structures, with only 24 kids needed for an official league.
    • Updating All-Star team policies to align with the American Development Model (ADM), including a minimum age of 10 years-old and 8 active players required per team.
    • Adding official 17u Section and Regional Championships.

As plans progress, PGA Jr. League and your Regional League Manager will provide updates.

    Number of Additional Activities

This is a great opportunity to provide unique experiences for your players. Make your program stand out with a pre-season meeting, registration party, lunch after games, or an end of the season celebration!

Having a better coach to player ratio could also lead to a higher value.

    Valuing your cost per experience

PGA Jr. League is one of the only youth sports where direction and instruction come from a certified teaching professional. It is important to make sure that your program fee is in line with the value you are providing as a PGA/LPGA Professional.

Having a better coach to player ratio could also lead to a higher value.

    Valuing your Additional Experiences

Are there other things you are including in your PGA Jr. League Program? This could include extra lessons, clinics, range balls/driving range pass, Junior Club Membership, team gifts, exclusive deals on golf equipment/merchandise and much more.

    PGA REACH Fee

The $75 PGA REACH Fee covers the 2021 Team Kit, RLM/SDC support, mobile app, technology updates, and more.. PGA REACH is the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America. The mission of PGA REACH is to positively impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA Professionals, PGA Sections and the game of golf.

  • Note about Collecting During Registration:
When consumers register, they will pay your total program fee (your program fee + the $75 PGA REACH Fee).

In this case put your program fee (from the orange box above) when registration asks you "How much are you collecting online?" when you register.  The system will automatically add $75.

  • Note about Collecting on your own Offline:
You can collect your program fee offline and only collect the $75 PGA REACH Fee when the parent registers. If you are only collecting the PGA REACH Fee online, you will put $0 in the question “How much are you collecting online?” when you register.

  • What do other youth sports cost? CLICK HERE for a study done by Utah State University. Additionally, in 2017 USATODAY published an article that 63% of parents in the United States spent between $100-$499 per month on youth sports. How many of those sports have professional coaches?
