CONTEST RULES
1. Entry Fee:
a. All participents are required to pay a non-refundable entry fee of $20 which must be submitted upon registration.
b. Entry fees are to be paid via Venmo to @PBSFDogRescue clearly stating "Chili Cookoff Registration Fee" with the contestant's name.
c. There are a limited number of entries available. All contestants must be registered by Friday, September 29th to participate.
2. Chili Submission:
a. Contestants must prepare and bring a large crockpot of their homemade chili to the event. Please bring a serving spoon for us to serve samples.
b. Chili should be submitted no later than 12:45 PM on the day of the event. Late submissions will be accepted, but late entry will affect judging.
3. Judging:
a. Judging will be conducted by attendeees through a People's Choice format.
b. Attendees will receive 1 vote and a sample of each chili for $5. Additional votes can be purchased 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00.
c. Attendees will vote for their favorite by placing their voting tickets in designated containers for each contestant.
d. Voting will close promptly at 4:00PM.
4. Prizes:
1st Prize $100 cash
2nd Prize $50 cash
3rd Prize Entry fee reimbursement ($20 cash)
