Once we receive your application, a representative from PuppyLove will contact you within 5 business days to discuss your application further and answer any questions you may have.

Please Note:

All foster applicants must be over 18 years old.
All foster homes must be within a reasonable driving distance of Harrodsburg, KY to facilitate veterinary care and adoption events.
All potential foster dogs will undergo a meet and greet with their foster parent before placement.
Once you agree to a foster, PuppyLove will work to find a home as quickly as possible. However, we can not guarantee that a foster can be placed in a specific time frame. Some fosters can end up being long term commitments.

Foster Parent Agreement and Disclaimer

I, ____________ hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions in my capacity as a foster parent ("Foster Parent") for PuppyLove KY ("Organization"):

Care and Custody: I understand and agree to provide temporary care and custody to animals ("Animals") assigned to me by the Organization. I will provide a safe, loving, and suitable environment for the Animals, including appropriate shelter, food, water, and medical care as directed by the Organization.

Responsibilities: I acknowledge that I am responsible for the day-to-day care of the Animals in my care, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and socialization. I will follow all guidelines and instructions provided by the Organization regarding the care and handling of the Animals.

Health and Safety: I will promptly notify the Organization of any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns exhibited by the Animals. I will ensure that the Animals receive necessary veterinary care and treatment as directed by the Organization.

Liability Waiver: I understand and acknowledge that fostering animals involves inherent risks, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, and exposure to zoonotic diseases. I agree to assume all risks associated with my role as a foster parent and release the

Organization, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any liability for damages or injuries arising from my participation in the foster program.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organization, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from my actions or omissions as a foster parent.

Termination: The Organization reserves the right to terminate my status as a foster parent at any time and for any reason. I understand that I may also terminate my participation in the foster program at any time by providing written notice to the Organization.

Confidentiality: I agree to maintain the confidentiality of any confidential pro proprietary information disclosed by the Organization, inluding but not limited to medial records, adotion applications, and donor information.

Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Ihave read and understand the terms of this Agreement and voluntarily agree to be bound by its provisions.
