  • After your trial session, if you wish to become a member of the academy and you meet our requirements, the following procedures must be completed.

  • Membership

  • All new and returning members are required to complete the enrolment form in full, providing all requested information and signing the declaration.

Two passport-sized photographs must be submitted prior to the first grading examination.

The Annual Membership Fee must be paid in full. This fee includes the member’s annual insurance cover. Membership will only be considered active once all requirements have been fulfilled.

Active membership entitles the individual to full insurance coverage and access to all academy benefits, including eligibility to participate in gradings, seminars, and championships.

  • Uniform

  • A full training uniform is available and recommended; however, it is not compulsory during the first three (3) months of training.

  • Training

  • Class timetables may be updated periodically. Members will be informed of any changes in advance, and the most up-to-date schedule is available through the academy.

If a member is unable to attend a session, the academy should be informed where possible. Unless otherwise agreed in advance, all fees remain payable.

  • Instruction

  • Members are expected to show respect to instructors and fellow members at all times.

For etiquette purposes, instructors should be addressed appropriately during training sessions.

Students should follow the structured teaching programme and should not attempt to practise techniques beyond their level without instructor guidance.

No member is permitted to teach or demonstrate academy material outside of authorised settings without prior approval.

  • Membership & Fees

  • Membership at the academy is based on a structured programme designed to support consistent progress and development.

    Children & Junior Memberships

Monthly fees for children and junior members are calculated based on a rate of £12 per session, with the total number of sessions delivered across the academic year taken into account.

The programme follows the school calendar and includes scheduled breaks during which no classes take place:

Two (2) weeks during the Christmas holiday period
Two (2) weeks during the Easter school holidays
The final class of the academic year takes place on the last school day of July
These breaks are not charged and are already accounted for in the annual calculation.

The total annual training cost is then divided into eleven (11) equal monthly payments, ensuring a consistent monthly fee. No payment is taken in August.

This structure provides a balanced and predictable payment plan while maintaining continuity of training throughout the year.

    Adult Memberships
Adult classes operate continuously throughout the year, with sessions running all year round. Monthly fees are based on ongoing weekly attendance and are payable consistently throughout the year.

    Fees & Payments
All membership fees are payable in advance on the 1st of each month. A late payment fee of £5 will be applied to payments received after the 10th of the month.

Membership fees represent the privilege of training within the academy and securing a place within the programme, rather than payment for individual sessions. As such, fees remain payable during scheduled breaks and periods of non-attendance, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Missed sessions may be made up with additional classes, subject to availability and provided membership is up to date.

  • Annual membership (11 calendar months) include Club membership, affiliation and insurance. All students must be in good standing with up-to-date membership to train in our premises or any other affiliated branch.
  • Cancellation Policy

  • If you wish to cancel your membership, we kindly request a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice prior to your next payment date.

This allows us to process your cancellation in time and avoid the next payment being taken.

If less than 2 weeks’ notice is given, the following payment may still be due.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to get in touch.

  • Choose Your Membership

  • You are now one step away from securing your place.

Once you submit the form, a payment link will appear on the next page to complete your membership setup.

Please use the link provided to set up your monthly membership via Direct Debit.

Once your membership has been successfully set up, the first payment will be arranged separately and will include:

A pro-rata amount for the remaining sessions in the current month (calculated at £12 per session)
A one-off Annual Membership Fee of £40 (which includes insurance and registration)
Your regular monthly membership payments will then begin automatically from the 1st of the following month.

Membership is only considered active once the Direct Debit has been set up and the initial payment has been completed.
