This Fall Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre will hold our third juried plein air painting exhibition. This is an excellent opportunity for on-location painters at any level to showcase work inspired by the Haliburton Highlands.

En Plein Air Haliburton - the Exhibition at Rails End Gallery is part of this year's CULTURE DAYS Ontario celebration. We are one of five hub events.
- The selection process will take place online from images you provide in your application.
- 20 finalists will be selected to show in an exhibition at Rails End Gallery from October 2 until November 28, 2025. Finalists will be notified by email with instructions on how and when to deliver work to Rails End Gallery.
- Works not chosen for exhibition in person will be included in the online exhbition featuring all entries.

To qualify for entry your work(s) must:
- be painted in 2025 or 2026
- prepared for hanging (framing optional)
- for sale
- maximum perimeter of 192" (unframed dimension)
- done "on location" in the Haliburton Highlands, defined as the County of Haliburton for purposes of this exhibition. SEE MAP Please indicate your painting location with your entry (address, nearest village, landmark or exact GPS points so we can situate the location on a map display)
Entry fee: $25 for one work, $35 for two works. All fees are used to cover the cost of presenting this exhibition.
