I've been working with a lot of new lines. With my established lines (Ex: Harley line, Dwarf line), I can guarantee very cuddly, puppy-like rats. My established lines show MY STANDARDS of what a rat should be. But while working with other Work-In-Progress lines, I cannot guarantee exceptional behavior.
I will NEVER adopt out a rat that I believe would be aggressive/terrified/sickly/a bad pet. Some rats I have available may have varying temperaments: energetic, aloof, timid, etc.
Even if a rat does not meet my quality standards, there are rats that I will still adopt out, as long as they are still of pet quality. Example: A rat that is a little squirmy while being held but enjoys being out of the cage and interacted with. These rats may also be discounted.
