Are you a resident of Tehama County who wants to learn more about and/or utilize prescribed fire? We want to hear from you!
The Resource Conservation District of Tehama County (RCDTC) is in the stages of forming a Prescribed Burn Association (PBA) in Tehama County, or the Tehama PBA.
Why fill out this form?
Indicating your preliminary interest will help the RCDTC know the scope of potential burning projects to apply for grant funding to support a PBA coordinator who would provide technical assistance to landowners for burning, plan trainings and educational events, and organize volunteer fire-lighters to support fire adapted communities in Tehama County. Once a PBA Coordinator is brought on staff, they will connect with you with more information.
Additionally, as the landowner, previous fire certifications are not required to serve as the burn boss for a burn on your property. The purpose of the PBA to to learn and burn together!
