Fees - A Tutoring Session Package must be purchased before your child's first session. Our packages are: 3 sessions for $175, 5 sessions for $275, 10 sessions for $525, 20 sessions for $1005. Fess are payable by cheque made out to: Erin Taylor, credit card, cash or EMT to readingreadiness@hotmail.com. Fees may be adjusted from time to time, and will become effective after 14 days written notice. Package fees are NON- REFUNDABLE, but are transferable to another child.
Cancellation Policy - We require 24hrs notice of cancellation. A full session will be taken from your pre- purchased package if less than 24hrs is given for for a missed (no- show) session.
Obligations of the Tutor - The tutor will prepare all lessons and materials, and will ensure they are structured in a way that will benefit the student. The tutor will keep all information about the student confidential. If applicable, your child's report card(s), IEP, diagnosis report(s), etc., are helpful to planning. If you are comfortable, we would appreciate copies of these.
Obligations for the Student - Homework, sight or heart words/ spelling words/ word work, and reading, that is assigned by the tutor, is an integral part of tutoring. For tutoring to be effective, it is essential that this work is completed each week, before the next tutoring session.
Permission - I allow Erin Taylor and/ or Teachers at Reading Readiness, to tutor my child at the Spencer Community Centre- 7035 Country Lane, Brooklin, ON.
