RBF will be keeping children who participate in virtual groups safe by using a dedicated professional platform (rather than social media) to make contacts and keeping a recording of all the interactions between our staff/volunteers and your children in perpetuity so if there are any concerns these can be fully reviewed at any time by our Safeguarding Officer.
RBF virtual groups will run with the same behaviour expectations as our face to face work so no aggressive actions or behaviour will be allowed and will be referred back to parents/carers as it would if it had taken place at a physical group.
To take part in BalloonStream, once you have given your consent, you will require access to equipment with internet access and to be fully interactive you will also need a microphone (and ideally a camera) - most smartphones, tablets or laptops would work for this purpose. If families require any technical support in getting this setup, please let us know at office@rbf.org.uk
All invitations to participate in BalloonStream sessions will be sent to the parent/carer. If you provide their details below, we will also send invitations directly to your child too so they can login independently if they have their own devices.
More than one child can participate through each device, but if your children would like to take part in different streams (there will one aimed at 4-10's and one aimed at 10-16's each week) please complete this form separately for each child so you receive the correct notifications for each family member.
