How RedRover Readers Builds Empathy and Resilience in Children

RedRover Readers is a story-based, social-emotional learning (SEL) program that helps children build empathy, emotional regulation, and perspective-taking by engaging with animal-centered stories and guided discussions.

In this one-hour presentation, participants will explore how the program can support children in shelter and transitional settings. Attendees will learn how the curriculum works, review evidence of its impact, and leave with tools and free resources to implement this accessible, trauma-informed approach in their own communities.
