Floating Studio Guest Artist Collaboration Form

Hello, dear artist!

Floating Studio is an artist-based tattoo and art space located in Long Island City, New York — a central, easily accessible neighborhood in NYC.

We are a women-led, all-female team, dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and vibrant creative community. While tattooing is at the heart of what we do, Floating Studio is more than just a tattoo studio. We actively encourage and support collaborating artists to explore, exhibit, and develop their practices across different artistic mediums.

We offer full-day sessions for guest artists and provide a wide range of studio equipment and supplies to support your workflow, including:
• Epson stencil printer and thermal stencil printer
• HP standard printer
• All essential consumables(including ink mixer!)
• Dynamic inks: Black, Triple Black, Triple White, and color inks
• Additional ink brands available, such as Solid Ink, Intenze, World Famous, and more

• And yes — coffee, tea, and snacks are always available! ☕🍪

Please note that machines and needles are artist-provided.

Once your station and booking dates are confirmed, Floating Studio will also share a promotional post on our Instagram to help announce your guest spot and support your booking visibility.

Floating Studio is an artist-centered space, and we value clear, respectful communication. We’re happy to support artists and clients in English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Spanish, making our space welcoming to a truly international community.

Agreement Terms

I, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions for my tattoo guesting work at Floating studio.

1. Responsibilities:

• I will be conscientious and responsible in completing my work assignments, including but not limited to cleaning, interacting with clients, and tattoo related tasks.
• I will abide by all studio policies and industry regulations throughout the period of my guest work in Floating Studio.

2. Health and Safety:

• I am responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• I will adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.

3. Profit Distribution:

• I know that the studio will take a 30% cut of my work  or up to $200 per day. I will send the cut on the day of each day's work to a transfer method provided by the studio, or in cash.
