  • LET YOURSELF SHINE! You are an important member of the NYCHA community with a story that matters. Please introduce yourself! How long have you lived in NYCHA? What is your relationship to the community and what work have you done that makes you a good match for this grant? Let the committee know why you know the developments needs better than anyone else in the cover letter below.
  • Grant Program Details:

    The funds will be disbursed to grantees with the following assumptions:

    • Regular check-ins will be held with individual project teams
    • A mid-program share will be held in the Summer with all project teams 
    • All teams will submit proof of receipts for the funds spent
    • All teams will present/submit a summary report for their projects once the grant period is over

    This grant program was built out of the 2021 NYCHA Sustainability Agenda. The purpose of these grants is to encourage a shift towards resident-focused, sustainability-conscious plans that improve NYCHA communities.
