Note:
If your child was baptised in an Eastern Catholic Church (such as the Maronite, Melkite or Ukrainian Churches) your child would have received all of the sacraments of initiation (baptism, confirmation and communion) during their baptism liturgy.
This is also the case if they were baptised in any of the Orthodox churches (not in communion with the Catholic Church), such as the Greek Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, etc.
They are welcome to be part of the preparation for Reconciliation and Eucharist, but they should know that this will not be their 'first communion.'
