We are delighted to be returning on Saturday 22nd August for our 6th annual community event in Crouch End, bringing together local residents, families and businesses for a day of music, food, culture and family-friendly activities. PLEASE NOT WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE ANY HOT FOOD, DRINKS OR ALCOHOL VENDORS.

Event Hours - 12:00 - 22:00

Trading Hours - 12:00 - 18:00

Number of Stalls - Up to 20

Stall Price - £70 (Temporary Street Trading License NOT INCLUDED - please continue to find out more)

USEFUL INFO

The event is free to attend and typically attracts between 100–150 people throughout the day. 

We intend to represent a variety of growing businesses on the day, including but not limited to; cakes, sauces, jewellery, clothing, fragrances, artwork, pottery etc

Please keep in mind that this is a family-orientated event and a creative and wellness focused community so brands that target this group will do better.

Stalls are selected based on bringing a unique aspect to the event, to specifically support growing businesses and what we think will fit in with the demographic of the Crouch End/Haringey area.

Our marketing, in accordance with the councils stipulations, will consist of leaflets, event guides & large banners to be distributed in the local area.In previous years we have aimed to avoid duplicate stalls wherever possible. As the event continues to grow, we are taking a more flexible approach and may accommodate multiple businesses within the same category where we feel they offer something different to attendees.

TEMPORARY STREET TRADING LICENSE

Haringey Council requires all traders attending this event to hold a Temporary Street Trading Licence.

Whilst council inspections have not taken place at previous Ridge Road Street Party events, licensing requirements remain in place and it is each trader's responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate permissions to trade.

You are welcome to apply directly to Haringey Council yourself. Alternatively, we can take care of the application for you for £45, this includes the council application fee (£37), document checks, application preparation and submission. 

If you choose to submit your own application, you will need the following documents/information and it will need to be submitted by August 1st.

- A copy of your Public Liability Insurance certificate

- A passport-style photograph taken within the last 12 months

- A copy of your Food Business Registration (if selling food or drink)

- Your National Insurance Number

- Trading Location: Ridge Road, N8 (between Inderwick Road and Nelson Road)

- Stall Size: Shared space equivalent to a standard 3m x 3m gazebo

- Applicant Details: Apply in your own name and select "No" for any additional options unless they specifically apply to your circumstances

Please be assured that any personal or sensitive information supplied for the application process will be handled securely and permanently deleted once the application has been successfully submitted.

RRSP EVENT GUIDE 

We are also producing our annual Event Guide, which will be delivered before the event to over 250 households on Ridge Road, a further 200 distributed through local businesses and made available to attendees on the day.

Vendors can choose to:
- Advertise their brand or services
- Promote a special online offer
- Provide an exclusive event-day offer
- Raise awareness of upcoming products, services or events
