ASSIGNMENTS
All volunteer duties require standing and walking.
Table Cleaning and Guest Services - You will have cleaning supplies to keep tables clean. You will keep an eye open for families who may need a helping hand carrying food or beverages to a table or finding what they're looking for.
Alcohol Service - (you must be 21+) means you will be verifying and checking IDs with every pour. You will document any notable incidents. You will fetch ice as needed and keep your area clean and well stocked.
Garbage Collection shifts involve two people making rounds to empty many garbage cans and drive the garbage to an onsite dumpster using a side x side ATV with trailer. Gloves will be provided. You will get dirty and you will need to have a valid driver's license to drive the ATV. You will be driving in very crowded areas.
Clean Up and Breaking Down will require putting equipment away and loading equipment into trucks and helping to unload at a storage unit on Todd Rd. Exit.
All volunteers will be tasked with keeping an eye on any minors trying to consume or purchase alcohol. Your help is extremely vital to make this event a success. Please only sign up if you are positive you can be there. If you need to cancel please give us a few days notice.
All volunteers are required to wear a mesh safety vest supplied by the event. You are more likely to get spoiled by the BBQ teams if they know you are a volunteer.
Please arrive 10 minutes early and check in at one of two Information Tents so you can be directed to your station and address any questions you may have. Call Rose Scattergood if you have any questions about your position. 360-562-6664. I will not be available to take calls during the event.
