The City of Santa Rosa, in partnership with SCTCA, is developing plans to make it safer and easier for students, families, and community members to walk, bike, and roll to schools and other everyday destinations. Funded through a U.S. Department of Transportation Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Planning Grant, the project will develop preliminary concept plans for up to 4.5 miles of priority corridors. Community input, along with field visits, plan reviews, and a community bike ride focused on the proposed El Camino a las Escuelas multi-use path, will help shape recommendations for safer streets and future infrastructure improvements. Your feedback will help guide these recommendations and support future funding opportunities.
