All dogs must undergo a behavioral evaluation prior to surrender. Because our facility has limited resources for specialized behavioral training, we cannot always accommodate dogs with a history of aggression. Please be aware that the high-stress environment of a shelter can often cause existing behavioral issues to worsen; therefore, we must prioritize the safety of our staff, volunteers and other animals when determining intake.
