Welcome to Lewis County CCE Agriculture in the Classroom Food for Thought Program. Through this program, educators will have the opportunity to connect existing curriculum with agriculture; infusing food and garden concepts into school lesson plans. These trainings will give hands-on experiences to teachers and pre-service teachers alike, contextualizing national education standards in science, social studies, and nutrition education with relevant instructional resources linked to Common Core Standards and Next-Generation Science Standards.
