Please ensure you have read and are familiar with the Rule of Operation in relation to the Nomination Process.

7.2.1.          Associations MUST nominate their ‘number 1/ best’ in the division based off Association size listed in Appendix 3, Associations will be able to submit an Application for Special Circumstance to be graded into a lower division.

If Associations do not nominate in the correct division, they will be automatically moved into the correct division with no ability to be regraded.

7.2.3. Any Team containing two or more players in the category in 7.2.2 must nominate in Division 1 of that age group. Teams may apply for an exemption to play in Division 2, based on overall team personnel.
An Application for Special Circumstance must be submitted at the time of nomination, failure to submit this form could result in team remaining in Division 1 as per 7.2.1.

7.2.4. Associations may submit an Application for Special Circumstance within the timeframe set out in the grading information pack for a review of the division nominated pursuant to 7.2.1 or 7.2.3. The association is responsible for collating and submitting all relevant information they would like considered as pert of the Special Circumstance application. A request to review the Division nominated will be considered in accordance with the grading criteria set out in 7.2.5.

7.2.5. Teams may be regraded in Divisions and Pools in accordance with criteria which can include the following:

a) All Junior Association tournament results in twelve months prior to the Championships;
b) The results from the Junior Country Championships of the age group below two years prior;
c) Number and level of development and/or representative players in a team;
d) Ability and/or number of top or bottom age players within the team;
