1. Vendor Selection & Limitations
The Saginaw Juneteenth Celebration Committee reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cap the number of vendors in specific categories (e.g., food, retail, informational) to ensure a diverse and balanced experience for attendees.
2. Food Vendor Requirements
All food vendors must apply for a Temporary Food License through the Saginaw County Health Department.
The application must be submitted no later than June 6, 2025 (two weeks prior to the event).
Late applications are subject to additional fees and may risk denial of participation by the Health Department.
Food inspections will begin as early as 8:00 AM on the day of the event.
âś… Vendor Responsibility: It is solely the vendor's responsibility to comply with all local health regulations and complete the licensing process in a timely manner.
3. Refund Policy
If a food vendor fails to obtain approval from the health department or misses the June 6th licensing deadline, participation may be revoked.
Vendor fees may not be refunded in cases of non-compliance or disapproval by the health department after June 6, 2025.
4. Liability & Waiver
The vendor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Saginaw Juneteenth Celebration Committee, its volunteers, the City of Saginaw, and any event partners or sponsors from any liability, loss, or damages resulting from participation.
The vendor is fully responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury caused by or to their property, staff, or products during the event.
5. Participation Guidelines
Vendors must provide their own setup (tents, tables, signage, etc.) unless otherwise arranged.
Setup time and arrival instructions will be shared at vendor meeting.
All vendors are expected to remain for the full duration of the festival unless otherwise approved in advance.
Acknowledgment
