The purpose of the City of Sammamish Project Guidance process is to provide customers with general project-specific information early in the course of design to assist customers in preparing for the permit process. The City provides this service free of charge to facilitate the customers understanding of code and permit requirements that generally apply to the proposed project.
The scope of the Project Guidance process is limited, is general in detail, and is not to be used to ask specific questions about refined design proposals or to resolve design issues. Please see Pre-Development Services process for specific inquiries or consult a qualified professional.
Project Guidance requests must be filed online. The City will provide a response to Project Guidance requests within 5 working days of an applicant filing the request online.
Information provided by City staff in response to this Project Guidance request does not guarantee project approval. In no way does Project Guidance substitute the applicant’s or customer’s obligation to design their own project. Project Guidance should only serve to assist an applicant in the early stage of design and in understanding the permit process required.
It is the applicant’s obligation to perform property research, complete their own design, provide all required supporting documentation, and submit a complete permit application to the Permit Center.
