This type of dog is generally not suited to quiet time spent with Granny, and could possibly exacerbate the issue resulting in an early collection request. Mental stimulation, such as found in a social day-care group situation, is known to help relieve a dog’s anxiety and relax their heightened activity. One should look for accommodation at an open boarding kennel. However, please discuss your dogs anxiety with Granny if you believe she is the best person to look after your fur baby.
