The Gadigal program is specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. That means your application needs to include evidence to show that you are of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
This can be in the form of a letter of identity from your Local Aboriginal Land Council, Aboriginal Legal Service, Aboriginal Medical Service, or other official Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander organisation.
If you cannot supply a letter from any of these organisations, you will need to provide a Statutory Declaration confirming your Aboriginality, declaring that you:
(a) Are of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander descent;
(b) Identify as an Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander; and
(c) Are accepted as such by the community in which they live in, or previously lived.
