  • Local government decisions impact LGBTQ+ rights in real and immediate ways. SAVE began our Advocacy is Pride initiative in June as a way to encourage residents to speak directly to their elected officials about how they can support the LGBTQ+ community. Now that Pride Month is over we are expanding the program all year long.

    Even if you've never taken part in politics or advocacy, we want to show you how easy it is to get involved. You can play a key role in turning the tide through a coordinated organizing operation in your own back yard. SAVE will provide you with talking points and guidance to make sure your voice is heard loud and clear!

    One of the most effective ways to create change is by showing up and speaking out. So join SAVE in showing our local leaders that Advocacy is Pride by speaking at your city’s commission meeting.
