Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee - Promotes the use of dispute resolution processes, and provides legal education and training in those methods.Committee on Women and the Legal Profession - Addresses issues affecting women as lawyers and judges and monitors substantive issues of women served by the legal system.Committee on Diversity in the Legal Profession - Promotes opportunities for minorities in the legal profession and encourages participation by minorities in State Bar programs and activities.Ethics Advisory Committee - Assists attorneys with interpretation and application of the Rules of Professional Conduct.Historical Committee - Acquires, maintains and submits for publication historical information relating to the State Bar.Judges and Lawyers Assistance Committee - Provides confidential professional peer assistance to State Bar members in need of help because of substance abuse, mental illness,or emotional distress and provides advice regarding the State Bar program.Lawyers Professional Liability and Insurance Committee - Advises the State Bar regarding risk management activities.Legal Services and Programs Committee - Facilitates cooperation and coordination of the legal services provided by various segments of the State Bar and increases public access to the civil justice system.
