2026 Senior Thesis Exhibition
The Kent State University School of Art, 2026 BFA Senior Thesis Exhibition will take place over two weeks in the Center for Visual Arts, April 21-May 1, 2026. Week one: Install (April 20), Exhibit: April 21-April 24 (Reception, April 24, 5-7 p.m.), Week Two: Install (April 27), Exhibit, April 28-May 1 (Reception, May 1, 5-7 p.m.).
All participating students are required to pay a $30 flat fee to the gallery in leu of regular gallery fees ($60). As part of that ($30 Flat Fee) each student will have an individual postcard made for them ($100 value) and vinyl for their exhibit title/name ($75 value). The exhibition will be selected by the School of Art Faculty in consultation with the Director of Exhibitions and Collections and th eDirector of the School of Art. The studio art faculty will make decisions regarding locations based on the quality, type of work, and space requirements.
You must apply with this form to complete your senior thesis in Spring 2026. Submission Requirements:1. 3 images that are representative of your work for the jurying process (High RES- 300 DPI, will be used for cards.)2. Preferred gallery locations & installation requirements if applicable 3. Title of your show.4. Artist Statement.
