    • Final Steps
    • PROGRAM TYPES

We have many ways to promote and run student projects.

      • Engineering Senior Design Course Project typically targets a specific major with a team of students in their senior year, and is completed in a course with a supervising faculty member. (Sponsorship fee is required)
      • The Computer Science Master's Project connects you with faculty Alan Hunt, and you will "pitch" your project to the class of graduate-level Computer Science students that are looking for a project. If a student is interested in your project, they will work on it for one semester. (No fee to pitch)
      • Tinkering Competition project is a quick event that can be completed within a few weeks, or a single day. Sponsors will supply the problem and be available to launch the event (in person or virtually), as well as answer questions from individuals and teams as needed. (No fee to sponsor).
      • Engineering Intramurals are extra-curricular opportunities promoted to sophomore through senior undergraduate students. (No fee to sponsor).

    • Our goal is to build strong partnerships and provide opportunities that connect students and companies. Any questions regarding this application can be directed to Melinda Somerville, Business Development Assistant for Experiential Learning Programs in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Our office is available at seas-exl@buffalor.edu.
