Overview
The Sugar Savvy Ambassadors program is designed to engage enthusiastic individuals passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness about Type 2 diabetes. As a Sugar Savvy Ambassador, you will play a vital role in spreading the word about the Dash4Diabetes 5K and 10K Walk/Run while earning rewards for your efforts.

Benefits
❒ Earn $5 for each registration made through your unique referral link.
❒ Receive a custom Sugar Savvy Ambassador shirt.
❒ Enjoy free registration for the Dash4Diabetes race.
❒ Gain recognition and rewards for your efforts in promoting health and wellness, such as gift cards, exclusive event gear, and feature highlights on our social media platforms.

Responsibilities

❒ Share your unique referral link on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok), email, and other platforms at least 4 times monthly.

❒ Encourage friends, family, and your community to participate in the Dash4Diabetes event.

❒ Represent the event and Sensible Health Initiatives positively and enthusiastically.

❒ Participate in monthly Ambassador meetings (30 minutes/per month).

❒ Provide feedback on improving the Dash4Diabetes event.

❒ Promote the event at local races, running clubs, and stores by wearing Sugar Savvy Ambassador’s gear. (Enter at least one local race and represent with your S/S T-shirt or serve as a volunteer in the SHI booth at an upcoming race or community event).

❒ Blog or share stories about your running experiences and those of others who inspire you at least once a month.

❒ Post pictures and updates of your running experiences to motivate others at least once a month.

❒ Track your promotional activities in a shared Google sheet for accountability.

Once we have received and reviewed your application, you will be sent a promo code that allows you to register for the Dash4Diabetes 5K or 10K race for free. Along with your registration, you will receive a custom Sugar Savvy Ambassador shirt, which will be mailed to you or can be arranged for pick-up. In addition to your Ambassador shirt, you'll also receive the official Dash4Diabetes t-shirt and race medal as a token of our appreciation for your commitment to promoting health and wellness in your community.
