For security reasons, our organizing takes place using Signal (an encrypted messaging app) and *not* via email, our website, or social media.

If you want to be in the loop about our local actions, we encourage you to download Signal at https://signal.org for your phone and/or computer.

To receive an invitation to our Signal chat and announcements channels, you will need to provide your Phone Number or Signal Username below. If you do not want to use your phone number you'll have to create your own signal Username, once created it will end with a dot and a number. Mine is bismuth_egg.42, for example. Consent and Safety

There are various levels of safety and risk that you, as a volunteer participant, must consider. Even though freedom of speech and assembly is protected by the First Amendment of the US Constitution, the current administration is acting lawlessly and we should keep that in mind. Know that there is no way to keep yourself "totally safe" as these are public actions and the aim is to bring many people into the movement. We strive to be as smart as we can and mitigate risk.

I understand that my image may be captured when photos or video is taken during group actions, which may be used to promote Singing Resistance Marin’s work on its social media page and webpage.
