TRIO Student Support Services
A federal TRIO program that provides low-income, first generation college students and students with physical disabilities the academic support to help them persist and to graduate from the Salish Kootenai College. The program ensures an environment that increases the potential for academic success and the likelihood of remaining in college through graduation by monitoring and assessing students' academic progress, and by offering consistent and reliable support and guidance. Services include academic advising, personal counseling, financial aid assistance, tutoring, financial planning, scholarship searches, study skills and career planning.
Student Certification
I certify that I am enrolled or accepted for enrollment at Salish Kootenai College and that all information on this application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I give permission:
- To release my name and/or picture to provide recognition in newsletters, web pages and /or other publications;
- To the SKC Financial Aid office and the Registrar's office to release any information with regard to my student records that is pertinent to the TRIO Student Support Services program.
I understand that the above information will be used for statistical purposes only in the Annual Performance Report required by the U.S.
