🎃🧹Something wicked paddles this way…🧹🎃
The mist creeps low, the water shivers cold, and the witches of WML rise once more…
Calling all witches, warlocks, goblins, and ghouls!
Climb into your cursed kayaks (or haunted eggshells…) and join the 5th Annual WML Witches Paddle — a spine-tingling tradition for residents brave enough to face the haunted waters of our lake.
WHEN:
🕰 October 5th
🧙♀️ Check-in begins at 11:00 AM at the dreadfully delightful BEACH 2
🌊 Witches take to the water at 12:30 PM
🎃 Final landing: BEACH 1
This eerie event is FREE for WML residents, but don’t forget:
Witches-in-training (under 12) must be accompanied by a mortal guardian and wear a magical flotation charm (okay… a proper life vest).
Costumes are REQUIRED – Witch or Goblin preferred, but any spooky, kooky, or creepy attire will do—as long as you can paddle without cursing yourself into the lake.
Prizes for the most spellbinding appearances and feats on the water:
🏆 Wicked Witch – Best Costume
⚡ First to Fly – Speed Champion
👻 Best Coven – Group Award
🧡 Friendliest Witch
🧠 Most Creative Costume
🧒 Best Kid's Costume
After the eerie paddle ends, drift on over to the Clubhouse Lawn, where the Fall Festival begins at 1:00 PM—with treats, music, and maybe a few more tricks…
So cast your spell, ring your bell, and prepare to set sail… if you dare.
